NCX is revolutionizing access to carbon programs for forest landowners of all sizes across the United States by expanding our forest carbon program and other natural capital market opportunities. We are looking for a results oriented, highly motivated, and collaborative individual to join our fast-growing team as a Forester Engagement Manager. This will be our first role 100% dedicated to engaging and supporting consulting foresters, our most important channel for reaching non-industrial landowners. In this role you will be responsible for managing the outreach, acquisition, and retention of consulting foresters and consulting forester firms to the NCX platform so experience working in the forestry industry is critical to the success of this role. Your role as a Forester Engagement Manager will be to communicate and educate consulting foresters and firms on the advantages of working with NCX and guiding them through bid submission processes and beyond. You will ensure that NCX is tapping into the critical market of consulting foresters which contributes to our larger goal of ensuring every landowner has the opportunity to play a critical role in solving the climate crisis. What You'll Do

  • Will support USO Operations Manager, and USO Operations Analyst in further development of Affiliate Program and other programs that engage foresters (ex. a Consultant Advisory Board)
  • Lead outreach, acquisition, and account management efforts for consulting foresters across the US from initial outreach to bid cycle submission
  • Focus on continued engagement with existing supply side relationships with consulting foresters and the organizations they work with
  • Support on initiatives to grow Landowner Association engagement and other key organizations that serve foresters and landowners
  • Build strong relationships with consulting foresters to understand and advocate for their needs and ensure their success with NCX’s programs. Surface new product and partnership opportunities. Work very closely with other members of the US Origination Team

Sound Like You?

  • Experience working with numerous clients in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in the forestry industry a must
  • A demonstrated ability to handle a large volume of clients simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be required to efficiently and effectively communicate with foresters on a wide range of topics
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. You should be process-driven and organized by nature, always working with an eye toward scalability and building repeatable processes
  • Hard working, with a record of accomplishment and demonstrated drive for achievement. You should always be willing to go the extra mile to ensure foresters have an excellent experience with NCX
  • Experience working with support queue ticketing tools such as Zendesk or Hubspot a plus
