NCX is revolutionizing access to carbon programs for forest landowners of all sizes across the United States by expanding our forest carbon program and other natural capital market opportunities. We are looking for a results oriented, highly motivated, customer focused individual to join our fast-growing team. You will be responsible for managing the outreach, acquisition, and retention of key landowners to the NCX platform, so sales experience is critical to the success of this role. Your role as a Key Accounts Manager will be to educate key accounts and landowners on the advantages of working with NCX as they evaluate participating in our natural capital programs. You will ensure that every forest landowner has the opportunity to play a critical role in solving the climate crisis by managing the landowner journey from initial outreach through contract submission and beyond. What You'll Do

  • Lead outreach, acquisition, and account management efforts for Key Accounts (i.e TIMOs, REITs, landowners/NGOs with 100K+ acres) across the US from initial touch to bid cycle submission
  • Focus on continued engagement with existing supply side relationships with critical partners and handle account management for on key account large private  landowner accounts each quarter
  • Execute on initiatives to grow Landowner Association engagement and other key organizations
  • Build strong relationships with landowners to understand and advocate for their needs and ensure their success with NCX’s programs. Understand their pain points and consolidate feedback to be shared with the rest of the NCX team
  • Collaborate within NCX to ensure landowner needs are considered. Surface new product and partnership opportunities. Work very closely with other members of the US Origination Team

Sound Like You?

  • Experience in Customer Success, Account Management or a client facing role managing a book of business of mid-market and enterprise clients, sales experience a plus
  • A demonstrated ability to handle a large volume of clients simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be required to efficiently and effectively communicate with forest landowners on a wide range of topics
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. You should be process-driven and organized by nature, always working with an eye toward scalability and building repeatable processes
  • Hard working, with a record of accomplishment and demonstrated drive for achievement. You should always be willing to go the extra mile to ensure landowners have an excellent experience with NCX
  • Empathy and patience for users with a wide range of technical aptitude and familiarity
  • Experience working with support queue ticketing tools such as Zendesk or Hubspot a plus
  • Forest industry background preferred
