Working hand-in-hand with the Project Manager, you will lead a team that may include sensor/electronics/mechanical design specialists, process engineers, and test specialists. The Technical Leader must also interact with other Teledyne groups including manufacturing, purchasing, and CMOS development.   Position Responsibilities <ul><li>Broad knowledge of systems engineering, process engineering, electronics design, mechanical design, and optics</li><li>Understanding of semiconductor theory and CMOS image sensors</li><li>Must be a strong team player, as well as be able to work independently</li><li>Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Report writing is essential.</li><li>Understanding of Design for Manufacturability and Reliability engineering</li><li>Experience preparing &amp; revising technical reports and project documents</li></ul>Position Requirements<ul><li>Bachelors or postgraduate degree in Physics/Nanotechnology/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent</li><li>At least 5 years of design/development experience</li><li>Strong, proven experience leading/managing a technical project</li><li>Proven experience working within a large multidisciplinary team and excellent communication skills are required</li><li>Experience evaluating risk and driving change</li><li>Proven ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines</li><li>Eligible for Controlled Goods security clearance</li></ul>The ideal candidate will also have:<ul><li>Experience with ECSS and MIL standards</li><li>Strong Technical Program Management experience</li><li>Experience with the Space systems</li><li>Experience with CCD/CMOS image sensors or cameras</li><li>Experience leading junior designers and test specialists</li></ul>Occasional travel may be expected to support new customers and product introduction.Strong candidates missing a few of the ideal requirements will be considered.    Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
