Together, we will change the future of energy, because the world can't wait.</div>What You Will Be Doing:You will lead the development of high-voltage circuit designs and hardware systems for Helion’s fusion devices. Your primary responsibility will be to grow and lead a high-performing electrical engineering team by providing mentorship, modeling technical excellence, and driving execution speed. You will solve complex engineering challenges that directly impact machine performance and help deliver clean, low-cost, reliable electricity to the world. You will report to the Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering and this is an onsite role located at our Everett, WA office.You Will:<ul><li>Grow and mentor a team of multidisciplinary electrical engineers</li><li>Oversee design of machine architecture, pulsed power circuits, grid-interfacing systems, and circuit modeling including plasma coupling</li><li>Drive schedule ownership and optimization across the team to accelerate milestone achievement</li><li>Lead design, analysis, and process improvements to increase engineering throughput</li><li>Collaborate with Research, Mechanical, and Production teams to derive system requirements and meet program goals</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline</li><li>7+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role</li><li>Proven ability to grow engineers and positively impact their career progression</li><li>Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with full project ownership</li><li>Demonstrated success managing complex engineering projects with schedule accountability</li><li>Hands-on experience across multiple engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing</li><li>Ability to apply first-principles thinking to solve complex technical problems</li></ul>#LI-Onsite #LI-KL1<div><div><div>Total Compensation and BenefitsHelion's compensation package includes a competitively benchmarked base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits.
