Responsibilities / TasksEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:<ul><li>Responsible for all manufacturing procedures per GMP and FDA requirements.</li><li>Follow all batching instructions per individual batch tickets.</li><li>Must rotate raw material stock on a first-in, first-out basis.</li><li>Report all tank readings prior to the start of the shift.</li><li>Check all chemicals before the start of a batch to assure availability of raw materials and packaging items and communicate with purchasing personnel when material inventory levels are low.</li><li>Required to check rework and returned goods on a daily basis and use the proper amounts in batches.</li><li>Must fill out all logbooks, batch tickets, and other production paperwork with proper information.</li><li>Coordinate with Quality to bring sample of all batches to lab for Q.C. tests prior to packaging.</li><li>Required to assure all machine operators are filling proper containers with proper product.</li><li>Assure that bulk deliveries are hooked up to the proper storage tank prior to unloading.</li><li>Required to load and unload trucks and verify that information on paperwork (material, delivery day/time, weights, etc) is correct.</li><li>Required to keep Batch Stand area in a neat and orderly manner daily.</li><li>Communicate to Plant Maintenance any needed repairs/maintenance on equipment.</li><li>Follow all safety instructions and procedures.</li><li>Review, store, and request revisions of batch tickets for products manufactured.</li><li>Perform the inspection, testing, and approval of all raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.</li><li>Provide certifications of product approval where necessary.</li><li>Perform testing and audits as necessary to ensure that all processes and products are in conformance.</li><li>Establish and maintain records as required for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.</li><li>Ensure that all test instruments, tools, practices, and procedures meet established standards.</li><li>Provide testing for materials returned to the manufacturing facility, when necessary.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li>Perform all production entries into SAP.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsThe typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000 - $100,000 per year.  GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position.
