THE ROLE

We’re looking for someone experienced in Enterprise sales, with an entrepreneurial drive. You will need to expand on our B2B product offering and drive B2B growth in the UK. You will have to develop and manage your own pipeline as well as nurture existing relationships. You will execute against an existing playbook we have developed for your market. You will be required to generate, contact and close leads. If you’re looking for ownership and the opportunity to not only sell, but help build the perfect offering for our customers, then this role is for you. You will be the first hire of your kind in the market and as such will have high growth opportunities but also great responsibilities:

  • Support strategy, development, and growth of the Enterprise segment: Drive new customer acquisition and existing customer growth
  • Develop a deep understanding of Zoomo’s offering (positioning, users, strategy, vision)
  • Manage both short and long tail sales cycles.
  • Lead exploratory discussions with prospective partners, resulting in multi-year, scalable solutions. Establish and nurture long-term partnerships, driving solutions for your customers and more revenue for Zoomo.
  • Conduct successful pilots (POC’s) establishing Zoomo’s value proposition in comparison to competitors.
  • Identify, build, and grow portfolio of quality relationships in the large corporate sector, focused on food & grocery delivery, logistics, health/wellness, commuter, and retailers
  • Define, execute, and own an engagement plan for key prospects
  • Work closely with the UK GM & EU Account Director on both UK & EU opportunities.
  • Identify and test verticals for scale, and build the team appropriately
  • Strategize new market creation opportunities
  • Gain regular customer feedback and insights for product development
  • Develop compelling quotes and holistic packaged proposal with a focus on quality and service
  • Participate in trade shows and networking events when applicable
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Manage pipelines with excellent tracking, follow-up, and detail with full lifecycle ownership
  • Regularly forecast sales opportunities as part of Commercial Sales demand planning
  • Work cross functionally to get the best for your customers, this means working with our hardware, finance, operations, legal and marketing teams.
  • Use our CRM (Hubspot) to accurately track all opportnuties in your pipeline.
  • Contribute to the Commercial Sales team culture with collaboration, learning mindset, and creative ideation

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of business development experience, with a mix of startup and larger enterprise experience
  • Experience leading a small team and/or a field trainer
  • Industry experience/contacts in one or many of the following: such as food/grocery delivery, logistics, parcel.
  • Experience with C-level partnership negotiations
  • Self-awareness, growth mindset, and superior relationship-building skills
  • Competency using CRM systems with a high level of function and detail
  • Ability to communicate exceptionally in written form and verbally, with impeccable writing skills
  • Must demonstrate strategic thinking and apply a consultative approach to sales
  • Must able to work self-sufficiently
