Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Experience in Steel stamping process, die design, other tooling for process improvements – technologies: Compound, Progressive, and Transfer.</li><li>Desired experience in stamping process for Aluminum and Copper</li><li>Strong conceptualization skills for mechanical components and understanding of component strength requirements.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD and/ or UG for reading, creating and editing drawings (manual and/or CAD), with knowledge of GD&amp;T.</li><li>Knowledge of Lean System tools and its methodologies; Six Sigma Green Belt or Red-X Apprentice preferred.</li><li>Proven project management skills – Effective oral and written communication, time and team management, adaptability, leadership, planning, budgeting,</li><li>Experience in automotive manufacturing is desired.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field;</li><li>5+ years of experience in engineering roles within the metals manufacturing industry.</li><li>Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory position</li><li>Strong understanding of metallurgical processes, materials science, and manufacturing techniques.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.</li><li>Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.</li><li>Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.</li></ul>Communication &amp; Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while serving as a sparring partner to internal/external stakeholders.
