Partnering with global brands to local dairy producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into everything we design and manufacture.About this opportunity We specialise in the manufacture and supply of rigid plastic and metal packaging servicing for the consumer and industrial sectors.As Supply and Demand Planner, you will perform a pivotal role as the conduit between supply planning and manufacturing scheduling.This includes forecasting, demand &amp; supply planning as well as the S&amp;OP process to unlock capacity and maximise plant performance.Your key responsibilities will be to:<ul><li>Machining</li><li>Perform lathe operations</li><li>Perform milling operations</li><li>Perform grinding operations</li><li>Perform Fabrication operations including welding when required</li><li>Perform complex grinding operations</li><li>Operates machines to make parts and tools</li><li>Uses a range of machinery operations including semi-automatic and automatic processes as well as hand tools to shape materials</li><li>Apply mathematical techniques in a manufacturing engineering or related environment</li><li> Drawing, Drafting and Design</li><li>Interpret technical drawing and understand CAD prinicples</li><li>Apply basic engineering design concepts</li><li>Marks out designs on the appropriate material and cuts to the specified size and shape</li><li>Studies engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of articles to be manufactured </li><li>Materials Handling</li><li>Undertake manual handling</li><li>Order materials</li><li>Operate fixed/moveable load shifting equipment</li><li>Measurement</li><li>Perform precision mechanical/Engineering measurement</li><li>Mark off/out (general engineering)</li><li>Undertake occupational health and safety activities in the workplace</li><li>Apply principles of occupational health and safety in the work environment</li><li>Fluid Power</li><li>Maintain pneumatic system</li><li>Maintain hydraulic systems</li><li>Tool Maintenance &amp; Diagnostics</li><li>Use tools for precision work</li><li>Take apart faulty tools and assemblies and repair or replace parts</li><li>Checks accuracy and quality of manufactured articles</li><li>Environmental</li><li>Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices</li><li>Communication</li><li>Operate as a team member to conduct manufacturing, engineering or related activities</li><li>Assist in the provision of on the job training</li><li>Interact with computing technology</li><li>Internal and Imported Units</li><li>Apply 5S procedures</li><li>Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components</li></ul>Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:<ul><li>Toolmaker</li><li>High proficiency in use for Lathes, Mills and CNC machine tools</li><li>Understand CAD drawings</li><li>Good Mechanical aptitude</li><li>Keyboard skills</li><li>Effective communication (written &amp; oral) skills</li><li>Microsoft Office skills,</li><li>Adaptable and flexible</li><li>Team player</li><li>Motivated</li><li>Strong focus on gaining an in-depth knowledge of products &amp; services supported</li></ul>
