IT Help Desk Technician

Here at Modern Meadow we are harnessing the power of design, biology, and engineering to produce biofabricated materials and bioproducts. As we continue to grow, we are seeking to hire a Research Associate to join our Biotechnology team.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and install computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Provide technical support across the company (this may be in person, on intra-company communication i.e.; Teams or Slack, via Video or over the phone)
• Setting up accounts for new users and supporting the HR Onboarding process from an IT perspective
• Troubleshooting, repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
• Testing new technology or processes in partnership with Sr. IT Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or 3-5 years experience working within IT industry in a help desk support environment Computer Science
• Expert proficiency within Microsoft Office
• High degree of personal accountability, with the ability to work independently and deliver results within project specific timelines.
• Self-motivated, passionate about your work, and enthusiastic about contributing to building a positive team spirit.
