Lifecycle Marketing Specialist

EnergySage is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to join our team in Boston, MA. 

The ideal candidate has experience with developing nurture campaigns (email, SMS, etc.), and should be familiar with some CRM and database functionality. A demonstrated interest in renewable energy is preferred, as well. The Lifecycle Marketing Specialist will be a function of the Marketing department. 

What you’ll do:

  • Define and lead EnergySage’s lifecycle marketing strategy. 
  • Own the day-to-day execution of B2C and B2B email campaigns, including copywriting, building/sending emails, A/B testing, and reporting.
  • Develop and execute automated lifecycle marketing journeys across all CRM channels (including email and SMS) to increase engagement with audiences
  • Develop list segmentation, targeting and contact strategies to maximize engagement across key stages of the customer shopping process.
  • Be the company go-to for marketing automation
  • Coordinate new data / feature requests with Product
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all channels, and maintain brand and copy tone throughout
  • Analyze and monitor the impact of nurture channels; use insights to consistently improve the customer experience
  • Work closely with both the installer team to create compelling installer or manufacturer-facing campaigns

What you bring to the role:

  • A consumer-first mindset 
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement, turning prospects into customers into promoters
  • 1+ years of experience in email marketing and marketing automation tools
  • Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration with product, sales, and customer service teams
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation
  • Exceptional copywriting and communication skills
  • HubSpot/CRM experience
