We’re just getting started.<h3>About the Role </h3>We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our dedicated cross-functional team. You should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You will be a key participant at this stage of our startup, gain experience in lean startup approaches in a constantly changing and growing environment, and be responsible for making some really cool stuff happen.<h3>Responsibilities</h3>Front-End Development<ul> <li>Designing and building user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks like <a href="http://vue.js">Vue.js</a> - backed by strong skills of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.</li> <li>Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends, to create modern user interfaces.</li> <li>Ensuring interfaces are responsive, accessible and high performing across all devices.</li> </ul>Back-End Development<ul> <li>Developing and maintaining robust server-side logic using languages like Javascript (Node.js), and Python with modern frameworks such as Express and jest, pytest.</li> <li>Designing and interacting with internal or external APIs (REST or GraphQL), including cloud storage solutions, payment gateways etc.</li> <li>Optimize system performance through caching strategies (e.g., Redis), asynchronous job queues and efficient database access patterns.</li> <li>Managing authentication, authorization, and security protocols.</li> <li>Building and managing data pipelines, integrating with real-time or batch data processing systems using technologies like Apache Kafka.</li> <li>Being familiar with clean architecture terminology and implementation.</li> </ul>Database Management<ul> <li>Designing database schemas and managing data storage.</li> <li>Using SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.</li> <li>Optimizing database queries and ensuring data integrity.</li> </ul>DevOps &amp; Deployment<ul> <li>Setting up CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>Using docker for containerization.</li> <li>Managing version control (typically using Git) and being familiar with Gitflow workflow.</li> </ul>Testing &amp; Debugging<ul> <li>Writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.</li> <li>Debugging issues across the full stack (client, server, database).</li> </ul>Project Collaboration<ul> <li>Working with designers, product managers, and other developers as well as business and product teams.</li> <li>Participating in code reviews and agile ceremonies (e.g., standups, sprint planning).</li> </ul>Some additional things that are important for us: Write technical documentation – don’t worry, we’ll keep this at a minimum. Owning your own work, improving your features, taking responsibility for the evolution of your features and projects. Requirements<ul> <li>Proven experience as a Full-Stack developer or similar role. Ideally 5 years. </li> <li>Being independent and collaborative. Sharing is caring.</li> <li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</li> <li>Able to take full ownership of your projects and features.
