Ensure high-quality output, prioritization of key objectives, and clear communication with collaborators across the organization. An ideal candidate knows how to empower engineers to deliver the best possible work. </div><div> </div><div><strong>Required Experience: </strong></div><div><ul><li>Proven history shipping web applications and APIs. </li><li>Up-to-date and detailed knowledge of web application architecture, tooling, stacks, and platform capabilities. </li><li>Experience managing a team of software engineers, fostering an environment that rewards success, handling underperformers, and actively guiding career development. </li><li>Ability to recruit qualified engineers with appropriate skillsets and minimize retention risks. </li><li>Aptitude to own your engineering backlog, prioritize work, and assign tasks to achieve the best outcome. </li><li>Excellent communication skills ensuring clarity across your manager, stakeholders, and collaborating teams. </li><li>Deep understanding of industry best practices in agile, code review, and team structure. EVgo is headquartered in Los Angeles. </div><div> </div><div>For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $160,000 USD to $180,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, and restricted stock units (subject to Board Approval).
