SUMMARY

Nexamp is seeking a business librarian / analyst / data curator to provide business research and data curation across our growing collection of photovoltaic ( solar panel ) and energy storage (battery) farms and construction projects. 

You will interact with our project developers, legal, policy, software development, and asset operating teams to develop and implement document and information storage and retrieval strategies, and to integrate them into business processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage major digital document information sets, including:
    • Policy documents and status for each state/utility area
    • Legal documents including Corporate contract agreements with utilities, major vendors, and others
    • Document sets for each construction opportunity, construction project, and operating solar farm
    • Technology manuals and resources for each installation, and each software release
  • Expand and maintain corporate SharePoint based internal websites and file storage across several dozen teams
  • Define, support and archive training in major software systems (Sharepoint, OneDrive, Procore, Salesforce, Netsuite)
  • Collaborate with other members of the data management team on data organization, analysis, and cross system integration

SKILLS

  • Experience in organizing many different documents across thousands of categories
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and related tooling
  • Strong data retrieval skills using SQL, PowerBI/Tableau, light scripting/programming preferred
  • Comfort interacting with a wide range of internal business stakeholders
  • Hands on work in organizing electronic collections

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, hands-on, results-oriented and a team player. Key qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial data organization role
  • MLS/MLIS or equivalent
  • Excellent written and spoken English communications skills
