Indigo Ag is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our in-house Brand Digital team. The ideal candidate has experience maintaining and driving strategy across social media platforms, building and engaging with social communities, collaborating on campaigns and projects across marketing channels, and analyzing and optimizing social performance to maintain brand sentiment and drive brand awareness.

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Take over the implementation of social media strategy for Indigo’s brand handles across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Take ownership over the development of strategy

Engagement

  • Monitor Indigo social media channels and surrounding ag and climate conversations
  • Support and refine a social response strategy to continue to build an engaged audience

Analysis

  • Support the compilation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that track key social metrics, as well as optimizing opportunities in real-time and supporting the definition of social goals

Branding

  • Learn Indigo’s brand voice to take over the social editorial calendar, collaborating with the Creative Services and Content teams to create compelling social-first content
  • Support the Brand Digital and Marketing team overall on social activations, brand and offer campaigns, and corporate announcements

Internal Resource

  • Serve as a go-to internal advocate for social best practices and manage employee social media guidelines, enablement channels, and trainings
  • Act as the organizational pulse of social trends in content, platform, etc. to provide recommendations

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional social media experience
  • Deep knowledge of cross-channel social strategy and best practice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong editing skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret social and digital analytics
  • Experience managing social media channels for a brand, institution, or program
  • Proven track record of growing social channels and strong content/editorial presence on social
  • Experience managing a social listening/monitoring platform a plus
  • Experience with both owned and paid social content preferred
  • Light graphic design abilities preferred
  • Experience in sustainability or agriculture a plus
