It combines strategic business development skills with a deep understanding of sustainability principles.</span></div><br><br><h3>Core Responsibilities/Impact: </h3><ul><li> Build new business pipeline   </li><li>Develop target client list and build connections with prospects  </li><li>Determine best methods/tools to obtain prospect list  </li><li>Determine best method/tools to find the appropriate contact within the prospect’s organization  </li><li>Understand existing arrangements and pain points  </li><li>Foster relationship with prospects  </li><li>Create strategy for regular and meaningful communication with prospects, establishing trust and credibility in our market  </li><li>Track progress within CRM system </li><li>Coordinate with Sales Operations to manage client proposals  </li><li>Work with Service Line leaders to prepare pricing and negotiate new client contracts  </li><li>Increase market presence via attendance of relevant conferences, meetings and industry events  </li><li>Communicate new products and leverage existing collateral with target clients  </li><li>Stay up to date on our marketplace and competition  </li><li>Educate prospects about Trio’s capabilities including advisory on sustainability, renewables, conventional power and gas procurement, and energy efficiency. </li></ul><h3> Experience &amp; Skills: </h3><ul><li>5+ years sustainability and energy experience in fields such as sustainability consulting, renewables origination, energy trading, procurement or utility management</li><li>Strong commercial negotiation skills, ability to review contracts and identify key commercial terms </li><li>Demonstrated record of accomplishment and success selling to large Commercial &amp; Industrial companies  </li><li>Commitment to teamwork  </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills  </li><li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word</li></ul><h3>Personal Profile: </h3><ul><li>Person of integrity</li><li>Accountable</li><li>Problem solver</li><li>Attentive to detail</li><li>Independent decision maker</li><li>Client-focused</li><li>Ethical and looking for growth</li></ul><br><div>Trio is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
