It's one role that's both internal and external facing. The position offers any job holder the opportunity to operate at the highest corporate level, whilst providing excellent financial reward</span></div><br><br><h3>Core Responsibilities/Impact: </h3><ul><li> To self-generate a book of new business in the International Energy sector to help deliver the team's sales plan and annual gross margin targets via our suite of consulting, sustainability and proprietary technology services</li><li>Generating your own leads through cold calling, networks and events, prospecting, and developing strategic referral relationships</li><li>Work alongside our marketing team in supporting their campaigns and ensuring timely follow up to leads</li><li>Implement lean processes and procedures to improve the sale lifecycle </li><li>Sales forecasting, grown plans, and weekly/monthly management information</li><li>Assisting with other opportunities and energy projects when appropriate to do so</li></ul><h3> Experience &amp; Skills: </h3><ul><li>A minimum of 3 years working in the energy industry -<b> Highly Desirable</b></li><li>A minimum of 1 year in a business development capacity -<b> Essential</b></li><li>international energy procurement, sustainability experience - <b>Highly Desirable </b></li><li>An in depth understanding of flexible purchasing/risk management strategies - <b>Highly Desirable</b></li><li>Excellent Presentation skills – <b>Essential</b></li><li>A confident presenter - <b>Essential </b></li><li>Strong proposal writing skills - <b>Desirable</b></li><li>Fluent in at least one language other than English - <b>Desirable</b></li></ul><h3>Personal Profile: </h3><ul><li> Person of integrity</li><li>Accountable</li><li>Problem solver</li><li>Attentive to detail</li><li>Independent decision maker</li><li>Client-focused</li><li>Ethical and looking for growth</li><li>Team player</li></ul><br><div>Trio is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
