You will architect, design, implement, and test new systems in a rapidly evolving problem-space.</p><h3>What You Will Bring to ChargePoint </h3><ul><li>Work on platform software including Linux Applications and IPC mechanisms</li><li>Familiarity with kernel and communication interfaces like CAN, RS-232/484, I2C, SPI, Modbus, PPP is a big plus</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally and globally with hardware, manufacturing and other software teams to define specifications, features, and APIs</li><li>Participate in design and code reviews, as well as mentor other members of the team</li></ul><h3>Requirements </h3><ul><li>BS/MS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent</li><li>5+ years of experience in developing embedded system products using C++ and C</li><li>Expert-level C++/C coding in a Linux/RTOS environment is a requirement</li><li>Managed and implemented large scale projects (not necessarily embedded, but application level, using Linux systems programming)</li><li>Well aware of Linux IPC concepts, event driven architecture</li><li>Good to have IoT experience and setting up devices, communication to cloud (experience with MQTT, etc protocols)</li><li>Good to have python (Python 3) experience</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Ability to translate software requirements to low level design</li><li>Evangelize clean architecture, clean code practices and follow the same</li><li>Demonstrated ability and willingness to make critical system-level design decisions and drive projects from start to finish with minimal supervision</li><li>Working with EV / EVSE products is a big plus</li></ul><h3>Location </h3><p>Gurugram, India</p><div><p>We are committed to an inclusive and diverse team.
