Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team and lead product development and operations of our Payments & Growth product stack, supporting hundreds of millions of dollars annual ride revenue and optimizing rider acquisition, activation and retention. This is a complex space with multiple stakeholders and diverse needs. We’re looking for candidates who thrive in complex environments.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize Bird’s payments stack to increase net inflows, reduce fraud and reduce failed payments
  • Own and develop relationships with payment partners
  • Evolve Bird’s Growth Product Stack to increase net revenue per user, user acquisition, activation and retention
  • Partner with BizOps, CRM and Local Ops teams to plan, develop and roll out new features, programs and campaigns
  • Own your product line. Set the vision, objectives and key results. Develop and manage your roadmap.
  • Know your customers. Speak with local government officials, riders and internal operators. Then distill their needs into a format that your team will use to build solutions.
  • Lead a cross-functional team. Collaborate with analysts, engineers and designers from ideation and research through design and build to shipping and iteration.
  • Update internal and external stakeholders on your roadmap progress.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management in a consumer tech company
  • 2+ years in in the Payments and/or Growth space
  • Experience with multiple PSPs (e.g. Stripe, Braintree, Adyen, Worldpay, ...)
  • Experience with user acquisition, activation and retention strategies
  • Experience with various growth tactics (incentives, pricing, offers, flash promos, loyalty programs, subscriptions, CRM, referrals, ...)
  • Outcome oriented. Track record of impacting hero metrics with scientific experimentation and measurement approach.
  • Data proficiency. Experience with data tools (Tableau, Metabase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills. Able to understand—and make themselves understood to—a spectrum of stakeholders. Effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. Ability to make sense of vaguely defined problems and then prioritize them.
  • Bias for action. Track record of shipping high-quality products in fast-moving environments.
  • Well organized, with attention to detail.
  • Passion for your city, micromobility, and improving quality of life.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic SQL skills
  • Experience with Anti-Fraud solutions
