Business Recruiter

Twelve is a new kind of chemical company built for the climate era. Our breakthrough technology eliminates emissions by turning CO2 into essential products. We are looking for a Business Recruiter to build the teams that will grow our business.  You will partner with our founders and executives to build: Strategy, Business Development, HR, Finance, and IT teams. You are the person for the job if you are excited to build a team that looks like the future world we will live in as we contribute towards a healthy planet.

What you will do

• Partner with our founders and executives to help build new teams and grow our core business functions: Strategy, BD, HR, Finance, and IT
• Own recruiting end-to-end for the business part of our business
• Empower our hiring managers to be excellent at team-building and hiring
• You will set the standard at Twelve for positive candidate experience
• Use a data-driven approach to identify gaps and continuously improve recruiting operations and interview practices
• Create materials and provide internal training on hiring best practices and techniques

Who you are

• You have hired for a wide range of roles including: process engineers, business development, strategy, financial analyst, policy, HRBP, and more
• You have 5+ years of experience as a recruiter in high-growth, fast-paced technology environments
• You are comfortable communicating to sales executives or accountants
• You are passionate about building diverse teams, and believe that Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) are fundamental to the company’s success
• You believe that recruiting is a superpower and are excited to use your superpowers to build a team that is battling climate change
• Learning is on your list of priorities. You are willing to learn new tools, technologies, and skills in order to do a job effectively 
• You take initiative. You’re most comfortable when you’re planning a few steps ahead. 
• Amongst friends you might be the vacation planner, birthday organizer, or the one who corrects people’s grammar :-). Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• You care about the experience you are creating for those around you and go out of your way to make sure it’s positive 
• You thrive in a dynamic environment that gives you autonomy to do your best work
