The Talent Acquisition organization is critical to develop both long-term and short-term strategies to ensure we are attracting, engaging, identifying, and cultivating relationships with global talent. The Director of Talent Acquisition will lead the charge in sourcing and acquiring talent that will help  meet strategic business goals. As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will also shape the strategy behind our efforts to build a diverse and talented workforce.  The Director will collaborate with leadership and hiring managers to attract forward-thinking talent that adds to culture while helping to further advance it into the future.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying our organization’s needs and work to create and implement an efficient talent acquisition strategy to improve recruitment and business performance
  • Establish a talent scouting and recruitment strategy by sourcing and building relationships with candidates
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of recruiters to successfully deliver on hiring goals and increase productivity, ensuring each team member's personal growth and career development
  • Developing, managing and maintaining a highly-skilled team to assist with talent development  
  • Communicating with external sources, i.e. peer organizations to acknowledge any trends in recruitment and markets which could impact upon the business
  • Anticipating the organizations future and working with senior executives to advise on recruiting tactics that will help to sustain the company’s success 
  • Research and consult on compensation and benefits with Total Rewards Leader
  • Applying strategies to attract diverse candidates to all areas of the business 
  • Managing and delivering reports and data when required
  • Experience creating and implementing policies, procedures, and/or processes that support broader talent acquisition strategies and hiring best practices.
  • Build a seamless interview process that amplifies candidate experience
  • Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates
  • Oversee efforts to strengthen our DE&I strategy with an acute focus on the recruiting process. 
  • Supervise onboarding and team-building efforts
  • Help team members with difficult closes; provide solutions to overcome objections and resolve issues
  • Sustain a healthy and productive workplace

Requirements

  • 10+ years of talent acquisition and recruitment experience
  • 5+ years of lead or management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or relevant field
  • Demonstrated experience in direct sourcing candidates in challenging markets.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Experience organizing and delivering training programs
  • Good understanding of Human Resources tools (e.g. Applicant Tracking Systems)
  • Ability to coach and manage individuals and teams
  • Experience building a talent acquisition function with a fast-growing company
