In this role, you will collaborate regularly with business leaders and cross-functional teams including HR and Finance. You will oversee, develop, recommend, and implement improved or new compensation plan policies. Working with the various teams, guiding insights, as well as aligning business and best practices to drive the desired outcomes. The Total Rewards Leader will strategically lead and provide work direction to the compensation and benefits teams and serve as a consultative partner with leaders across the organization.  In addition, a primary focus of this role is to drive an enterprise total rewards strategy, which includes market-competitive executive Compensation and Benefits programs. This position is also responsible for an operational understanding and compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, and tax laws.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing pay and benefits practices while providing recommendations and executing plans for change.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommend changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
  • Analyze and interpret relevant market data, and develop recommendations for updates to job architecture, salary structures, and benefits offerings; propose salary increase budgets on a global basis and administer all rewards lifecycle actions (job pricing, focal cycle administration, equity refresh cycle, open enrollment).
  • Develop techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data.
  • Build and maintain the systems and process side of total rewards, including rewards HRIS configuration and partnership with external solution providers
  • Design and deliver compensation and rewards programs that are well understood and valued by managers and employees; develop comprehensive communications and training materials.
  • Partner and influence cross-functionally to extend competitive comp packages in accordance with our philosophy including salary, bonus, and equity.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in compensation and benefits administration.
  • Maintain knowledge of economic conditions, labor market, and other factors related to ensuring the organization provides competitive and reasonable benefits and compensation scales and structures.

Requirements

  • You have 10+ years' relevant rewards experience, including a strong emphasis on compensation administration across cash and equity compensation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, industrial relations or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and managing salary and annual incentive programs for all levels of an organization, including executive total compensation.
  • You demonstrate a bias towards action in driving continuous improvement through project/program management.
  • Ability to effectively communicate compensation and benefit related concepts, practices and procedures effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong blend of business acumen, project management skills and technical expertise demonstrated by ability to focus on business needs.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills including statistical analysis and modeling along with experience evaluating and managing online salary management tools.
  • You understand the legal environment and help guarantee adherence with all applicable employment laws.
  • You are a persuasive and clear communicator, leading change through strong interpersonal skills across all levels and functions of colleagues.
  • You are flexible and creative, comfortable with ambiguity, organized and detail-oriented.
