Your contribution:<h2>We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and lead pursuit engineering activities for our automotive energy solutions. This customer-facing role requires a dynamic individual with experience in complex systems and the ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously. This position can be located in Hannover/ Limbach or Delbrück /Germany.</h2>Key Responsibilities: What you will do<ul><li>Support pursuit engineering activities for automotive low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors.</li><li>Collaborate with automotive customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored mechanical solutions.</li><li>Develop CAD models for supplier quoting and detailed design analysis.</li><li>Work with in-house and external subject matter experts to perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling to optimize designs.</li><li>Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Work with cross-functional engineering team to design energy storage systems to meet customer requirements with a specific focus on design for cost.</li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical solutions.</li><li>Conduct analysis, modeling, and simulations to ensure that the mechanical designs complies with customer requirements, manufacturing requirements, and automotive standards.</li></ul>Qualifications: Who we look for<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
