Build SMEC’s reputation as a leading consultant with a strong reputation for innovation, technical excellence, quality and project delivery.Job Specification:Qualifications:  - Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems - Need to be professional registered (local or international certification) - Would be beneficial to have Project Management certification and experience - Would be beneficial to be a member of an international and/or local professional engineering society (e.g. CIGRE)Knowledge &amp; Experience - At least 10 years experience in High Voltage Underground &amp; Subsea Cabling projects (e.g. in connection of offshore wind farms, interconnection projects, etc) - At least 5 years experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams and responsibility for detail design and construction - High proficiency in HV (including +400kV) Cable design including Thermal and Electrical requirements and studies, duct &amp; trench design, layouts, installation, and geotechnical requirements - Knowledge of Internation transmission &amp; distribution design standards and grid codes as well as country specific requirements in South East Asia - Would be beneficial to have experience in HVDC projects - Would be beneficial to have experience in International Financial Institute projects - Would be beneficial to have experience in projects with Utility clients and Private Developers - Would be beneficial to have experience in Consulting roles - Would be beneficial to have experience in “Digital Engineering” - Willing to travel or to be based at outstation or at project site (local or overseas) as required. - Able and willing to mentor, train and guide junior staff.At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
