As a senior engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and scaling cloud services that enable remote device management, over-the-air updates, observability, and high-availability operations for our mobile perception platform. We tackle complex challenges related to scalability, performance, and security to enable smarter and safer cities through cutting-edge innovation. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that drive the future of intelligent transportation systems.Responsibilities: 										 <ul style=""><li>Participate in incident prevention, response, and remediation efforts, learning and applying best practices.</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud services that support device observability, OTA updates, and fleet operations.</li><li>Lead efforts to improve the reliability, security, and performance of multi-region AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.</li><li>Own CI/CD pipelines for cloud services, enabling efficient, secure, and automated delivery processes.</li><li>Set and uphold high standards for software engineering and DevOps practices across the team, including incident response, monitoring, and postmortems.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including hardware, product, and other engineering teams—to define system requirements and deliver robust end-to-end solutions.</li><li>Drive architectural decisions, perform code reviews, and contribute to long-term technical strategy for cloud services.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and share expertise in cloud technologies, software and architectural design patterns.</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications:</h3><ul style=""><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>5+ years of industry experience. </li><li>Experience with  Amazon AWS services such as EKS, S3, SQS, RDS, Cognito, and Lambda.</li><li>Proficiency in Python or Go (Golang), with a focus on building production-quality services.</li><li>Experience working with relational, document, or time-series databases and expertise in writing performant SQL queries.</li><li>Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate and contribute to solutions effectively.</li><li>Proven ability to design and operate scalable, secure APIs and microservices.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a track record of leading cross-functional technical initiatives.</li><li>Experience working in agile environments with modern DevOps and SRE practices.</li></ul>
