Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Electric Hydrogen’s mission is to create an abundant and decarbonized material future. Our outstanding people are our most important asset and will allow us to deliver hydrogen from renewable electrolysis for heavy industry, at prices below fossil fuels. 

As a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack, your mission will be to lead and build a custom web application from scratch. You are a self-motivated team player who wants to own the technical stack. You have the experience to know how to do it right, and are excited to build.

The position can be remote or onsite at our location in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Ability to be onsite once a week is preferred but not required. You will report to our VP, Product Management.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical leadership in the development of custom software web application to educate, inform, and impress customers
• Collaborate with product management and hardware engineering teams to scope and define software solutions and staging of development
• Suggest and present solutions to technology challenges
• Use modern software development practices
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs

PRIOR EXPERIENCE & PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development or similar role
• Web application experience using JavaScript and React, Angular, Vue, or other contemporary web development frameworks
• Experience with GCP a plus
• Comfortable writing and using integration and unit tests
• Startup experience a plus
• Experience in energy, renewables or chemical industry a plus
• Essential sense of humor
• Scrappy self-starter with an ability to spot problems and actively solve them
• BS in Computer science or similar preferred
