This position performs design, testing, and verification activities to ensure all requirements and development processes are satisfied for current and future projects.The role is based in Hannover, Germany.Key Responsibilities: What you will do<ul><li>Review customer specifications, industry standards, regulatory standards and internal design guidelines to establish product electrical requirements.</li><li>Performs the requirement analysis and validation planning activities in accordance with automotive functional safety and ASPICE processes.</li><li>Performs design verification activities such as engineering analysis, simulation, design reviews, DFMEAs, validation testing and reporting in accordance with automotive functional safety and ASPICE processes.</li><li>Creates core and customer electronic circuit designs covering analog, digital, micro-controller architecture, and power supplies.</li><li>Generates technical requirements of electrical architecture and electrical circuit design, components and sub-assemblies including PCBA, contactors, fans, temperature sensors, Flex PCBs and other electrical hardware.</li><li>Generates hardware / software interface specifications and electronic test software requirements, working closely with the embedded software engineering team.</li><li>Proficient in the use of electronic design and development tools, including schematic capture, layout, analysis, and simulation.</li><li>Design and test for vehicle level electrical and electromagnetic performance per customer requirements. Optimize the electrical system design to balance cost, performance, mass, volume, and energy efficiency.</li><li>Review electrical design analyses and test results in support of design verification. Define test setups, plans, and execute tests for electrical circuits and components.st setups.</li><li>Evaluate Engineering Change Requests and Engineering Change Orders for completeness.</li><li>Lead the technical investigations and resolutions of electrical component and circuit issues.</li><li>Develop relationships with suppliers to deliver components to specifications.
