Our microreactor can bring power to remote parts of the world and provide backup power for life-saving applications in hospitals or disaster-relief scenarios. </div>Senior Manager, Technical Program Management Radiant is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Program Management to lead the strategic execution of complex engineering programs critical to delivering the world’s first portable nuclear microreactor. This high-visibility role will oversee cross-functional program planning, alignment, and execution across Radiant’s engineering, operations, and leadership teams. You will drive the delivery of integrated, multi-disciplinary technical initiatives — aligning timelines, resources, and milestones in service of our mission to deploy a new commercial reactor design for fueled operation by 2026. This role requires an exceptional aptitude for proactively spotting roadblocks and pre-emptively aligning resources to remove those blocks, thereby bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to complex, high-stakes efforts. Responsibilities and Duties: <ul><li>Drive company-wide technical programs and own the technical outcomes. You will be responsible for everything from planning through execution, ensuring delivery of key milestones across design, prototyping, testing, and deployment. </li><li>Partner with executive leadership to set priorities, develop integrated roadmaps, and drive investment decisions. </li><li>Foster new links between teams by leading cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, safety, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure synchronization of goals and resources. </li><li>Establish and manage program-level risk frameworks, identifying critical dependencies, bottlenecks, and failure modes early — and working with teams to mitigate them decisively. </li><li>Communicate program status, challenges, and strategy updates clearly to executive stakeholders and external partners, all while holding each and every stakeholder accountable within defined frameworks. </li></ul>Required Qualifications: <ul><li>8+ years of experience in technical program management, with increasing levels of leadership responsibility. </li><li>Proven track record managing large-scale, interdisciplinary engineering programs — ideally involving both hardware and software – on time, and on budget. </li><li>Strong familiarity with engineering development lifecycles in high-regulation, high-risk domains (e.g., aerospace, energy, defense, or automotive). </li><li>Demonstrated success in aligning executive and technical stakeholders around complex initiatives with tight timelines. </li><li>Experience in creating and managing budgets, schedules, and resource plans across multiple teams or departments. </li><li>Exceptional communication, influence, and leadership skills; able to drive accountability and foster alignment in a fast-paced startup environment. </li></ul>Desired Qualifications: <ul><li>Engineering background or technical literacy in nuclear, aerospace, or hardware-intensive systems (ideally as an RE/Responsible Engineer). </li><li>Prior experience in productizing first-of-a-kind technologies or regulated industrial systems. </li><li>Deep commitment to mission-driven work and a passion for accelerating clean energy solutions. </li></ul>Key Traits: <ul><li>Grit: Unflappable perseverance in the face of strong, sustained project headwinds.
