You will lead site selection, coordinate facility buildouts and improvements, and oversee maintenance and vendor management. You’ll also drive process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, and scale our infrastructure to match our growth.**This is a role based in our Santa Monica office requiring four days a week in office. The role remotely supports 40+ warehouses throughout the country. You will be traveling about 6 times a year about 10-15%.Responsibilities: <ul><li>Support local operations teams by resolving on-site facility issues, coordinating work orders, and managing vendor communications and follow-ups.</li><li>Serve as primary liaison with landlords, property managers and vendors to ensure timely response and resolution to maintenance issues, lease compliance, and site operations support.</li><li>Develop and implement a proactive maintenance program, including both preventative and reactive strategies, to reduce downtime and extend facility lifecycle.</li><li>Source, vet, and manage vendors for repair, maintenance, and buildout projects; negotiate contracts, track performance, and oversee electrical and facility infrastructure improvements.</li><li>Track facility-related budgets, including rent, utilities, repairs, and capital improvements</li><li>Standardize facility operations processes across all locations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure consistent quality of service.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and workplace regulations, support emergency preparedness efforts including fire/life safety, OSHA-compliant equipment, and documentation of emergency procedures.</li><li>Identify, evaluate, and secure new warehouse and operational sites across North America, partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure location suitability, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with operational goals; conduct zoning and compliance research and coordinate with city departments as needed.</li><li>Monitor facility performance metrics, provide regular reporting on lease status, open work orders, and capital projects, and identify areas for operational improvement.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>5+ years of experience in facilities operations, or property management. Ideally in a multi-site, industrial, distribution, or logistics-focused environment.</li><li>Experience overseeing contractors, vendors, and facilities maintenance programs remotely.</li><li>Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, MEP), OSHA standards, and safety compliance practices.</li><li>Proficiency with facilities management software, Google Workspace, and project tracking tools is preferred.</li><li>Willingness to travel regularly to warehouse sites.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive Compensation Package that consists of a base salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 + Annual Performance Bonus + Equity (Stock Options) + Full Range of Benefits. </li><ul><li>Veo is a total compensation company, and pay is determined by geographic cost of labor and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training - so not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. </li><li>Our total compensation package for this role, including bonus potential, ranges from $80,000 - $115,000</li></ul><li>Unlimited PTO</li><li>Competitive Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability and more!) </li><li>401k with 3% match </li><li>Opportunity to work in a fast-paced technology company</li></ul>#VEO2025 <div><div><div>Below is the expected salary range for this position.
