Job Summary

The Channel Marketing manager has experience developing and executing channel marketing programs and supporting key accounts and working with dealers across EMEA. They will be comfortable managing day-to-day marketing activities and collateral, and be comfortable with account management oversight. In this fast-paced role you will be a key member of a world class integrated communications and marketing team and partner closely with a cross-functional team across Communicaitons, Creative, Product, Growth, Sales and CRM teams to develop and manage scalable marketing programs across the EMEA region that are in line with the Bird brand and vision.

The EMEA Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing channel marketing programs in collaboration with the EMEA sales, product and marketing teams. This role will need to develop and maintain strong working relationships with the internal sales and product teams and lead product and consumer marketing for the EMEA region. This includes being a key liasion for external distributors, dealers and retail partners to develop strategies and programs that drive sell-thru and create a compelling and meaningful digital and physical product experience. This includes a deep focus on all aspects of the end customer experience including dealer kits and event support as well as collaborating with the after sales and ecommerce teams to enhance customer experience as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the retail or dealer experience from a product, category, training, visual, and brand development perspective
  • Manage channel-specific marketing needs and overall program execution, including: localized product marketing materials, advertising, promotional strategy and calendar, oversight of creative development, in-store POS displays and kits, and digital content development and syndication
  • Manage all communication related to in-store and digital merchandising, product training, product launch readiness, and product marketing with the sales, product and account team
  • Partner and collaborate with the sales team on distributor and account marketing needs and support materials
  • Fully understand how each channel partner and distributor operates and build strong relationships with their marketing, product, and sales teams
  • Manage channel marketing budgets and reporting for individual accounts

Requirements

  • College Degree
  • 3-4 years product, sales or marketing experience
  • Must be fluent in English, German or other languages are a plus
  • Written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and strategic thinking
  • Tradeshows & key account visits as needed, May need to do store trainings and field marketig checks for merchandising execution
