It is based in California and Colorado and is a specialist in the provision of standard and tailored power subsystems, across a range of business applications and markets.The Finance team at ETM covers the full range of accounting disciplines, alongside our shared services teams. We focus on providing a high quality, professional and efficient service to both our internal and external customers, based in the USA and across the world.Please note that for this position, experience in a manufacturing environment and of inventory management is required.Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provision of regular periodic accounting, reporting and forecasting processes, with a specific focus on project and cost accounting and revenue recognition;</li><li>Provision of business analysis for any financial/commercial decision relating to the business, including sales and product analysis and support for the business quoting process;</li><li>Provision of budgeting and planning support across business departments;</li><li>Provision of training, advice and support to relevant managers;</li><li>Ensuring the business operates within the financial controls and procedures set by the Teledyne Group;</li><li>Other tasks can be assigned based on business needs</li></ul>Competencies:<ul><li>Accurate with good attention to detail.</li><li>Able to work autonomously and as part of integrated teams</li><li>Good interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Be able to work within a fast paced, everchanging business</li><li>Experience of working within a deadline structured delivery environment</li><li>Have excellent IT skills, especially within Excel spreadsheet development and manipulation</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent</li><li>Five years' general accounting experience desired, Cost Accounting experience a plus</li><li>Knowledge of General Accounting Principles</li><li>Experience of a manufacturing environment and of inventory management required</li><li>Experience with an ERP or MRP System a plus.
