Job Description

Electric Hydrogen’s mission is to create an abundant and decarbonized material future. Our outstanding people are our most important asset and will allow us to deliver hydrogen from renewable electrolysis for heavy industry, at prices below fossil fuels. 

We are searching for an Instrumentation and Controls Technician. You have experience working with Instrumentation and Controls in a plant, chemical process, or manufacturing environment. You operate with a high degree of independence and autonomy.

You will work in a lab or pilot plant environment in Natick, MA, and report to our Director of Test Engineering.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Installation of instrumentation and sensors.
  • Low voltage DC wiring
  • Commissioning and troubleshooting test equipment
  • Procurement and specification of instrumentation and misc. hardware
  • Control panel wiring (design skills preferred)
  • Basic industrial networking (IP addressing, termination, debug)
  • Vendor management

SKILLS

  • Must understand industrial electrical drawings
  • Must understand piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Familiarity with control systems. (If you don't know how to program, Electric Hydrogen will teach you)
  • Familiarity with small high purity piping systems (compression, tri-clamp, pipe)
  • Recognize hazards and work safely in a lab environment

$32.50$58.25 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
