This is a dynamic position that blends project management with construction compliance experience and deep regulatory knowledge—an opportunity to work at the intersection of construction, environmental planning, and stakeholder coordination.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Manage and oversee permitting and compliance activity planning, delivery, and progress tracking for construction projects</li><li>Develop and implement efficient and effective permitting and compliance strategies, collaborating between various program teams</li><li>Direct the work of contracting staff preparing permit applications for construction projects</li><li>Establish and uphold clear communication protocols that facilitate timely, effective, and efficient collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external consultants</li><li>Ensure that project deliverables comply with Authority standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements</li><li>Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track</li><li>Participate in meetings with stakeholders, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to discuss project progress and address any concerns</li><li>Provide direction and support to team members, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clear</li><li>Gather and synthesize technical data from engineering, design, and other experts for use in documentation and decision making</li><li>Provide support for compliance activities on construction projects, including responding to potential noncompliance events, regulatory agency inquiries and requests, emergency response activities, and reporting</li><li>Supervise the preparation, review, and submittal of compliance documentation to Authority leadership and regulatory agencies</li><li>Retrieve and synthesize data to prepare reports using a proprietary database, Environmental Mitigation and Management Application (EMMA)</li><li>Perform other project management duties as requested</li></ul>
