About PatchPatch is building the infrastructure to power a climate-positive economy and scale carbon removal. Businesses can leverage our API to automatically calculate the footprint of any given transaction and make that transaction carbon-neutral. Offset projects use our consumer-grade platform to manage their business, find new customers and scale their technology.
We're a small team of successful startup veterans building a category-defining business in an industry the world deeply needs. We're backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Version One, Pale Blue Dot, and are founded by the same team who helped take Sonder from 0 to 2B.
About PositionWe're looking for an exceptional demand generation leader to be run all marketing programs with revenue generation as the goal. As a key person responsible for driving growth, this is one of the most important positions in the company.
In this role, you'll partner directly with Patch's VP of Marketing, the Head of Revenue, and the GTM team as the leader responsible for building high quality pipeline for the business. You’ll build Patch's revenue marketing team from the ground up, hire the best people in the business, establish a strong foundation for growth, and make a hugely positive impact on the planet.
We are based in San Francisco but are open to remote candidates for this position.

What You’ll Do:

  • Reporting to the VP of Marketing, and working closely with the Head of Global Revenue and GTM teams, you’ll be responsible for driving leads and first meetings with key buyers
  • Own both strategy and execution of Demand Generation across the business
  • Develop Patch’s strategy for acquiring net-new customers and growing our top of funnel
  • Collaborate with our GTM team to drive qualified leads across a broad range of industries
  • Execute demand gen programs with the support of agencies, contractors and internal teams
  • Continuously test and iterate, identifying new programs to efficiently generate high quality leads
  • Measure and track results through the full sales cycle, repeat what’s working and ditching what doesn’t
  • Leverage a broad range of Marketing channels across digital and physical, including but not limited to: social, email, search, paid, events, webinars, podcasts and anything else you think will work!
  • Manage the lead qualification, prioritization and nurture process of leads across their lifecycle
  • Create strategic programs across the entire sales cycle, including those to move to close later stage deals
  • Efficiently manage spend and ruthlessly measure results across the entire lifecycle of leads and programs

  • You are entrepreneurial, data-driven (even when there's limited data available), and scrappy
  • Independent thinker, comfortable running with lots of room and space for creativity
  • Comfortable building out Patch's sales & marketing tech stack from the ground up
  • You are excellent at execution and get stuff done consistently, with high quality
  • You pay attention to the details, especially the little ones
  • Understand how to rigorously prioritize growth decisions
  • An inordinate love ❤️ for data and metrics, modeling adoration a plus
  • Excellent cross-functional leader
  • Strong communicator, written and verbal (you can give the pitch!)
  • High adversity quotient! (aka, the ability to deal with adversity in life and grow from it)
