Job Description

About PatchTo achieve real climate progress, businesses must decarbonize their operations. Some emissions are unavoidable, and that’s where Patch comes in. Patch's API connects carbon offset and renewable energy suppliers directly with the businesses that need them most with just a few lines of code.
We're a small team of successful startup veterans building a category-defining business in an industry the world deeply needs. We're backed by Coatue, Andreessen Horowitz, Version One, Pale Blue Dot, and are founded by the same team who helped take Sonder from 0 to 2B.
About PositionWe're hiring a Lead Product Manager to manage Patch’s API products, the vital technology our enterprise customers use to help remove carbon from the environment and reach their sustainability goals. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, design, product, and marketing teams to define product roadmaps, build relationships with customers, and translate their highest priority needs into scalable product solutions.
The ideal candidate has led technical products or large-scale platforms, can regularly interact with commercial customers, and is equally excited about beautiful product UX as API design. The candidate must be extremely detail oriented and able to concisely communicate complex concepts to customers and stakeholders with varied backgrounds.
We're looking for people who are excited about combating climate change — you don't need to know anything about carbon removal and sustainability, but should be excited to learn. We're building in an entirely new space, so you'll be able to use your creativity to help us solve problems and forge an entirely new set of tools and products which delight our customers and help save the world.

Who You Are:

  • You have 5+ years experience in product management, with demonstrated experience successfully building and shipping products at scale.
  • You have excellent technical acumen and familiarity with API’s, programming languages, and databases.
  • You can build elegantly designed API products, which enable our customers to create delightful product experiences for end users.
  • You’re a skilled communicator with technical and non-technical audiences, comfortable engaging with enterprise-level customers to understand their needs and create scalable carbon neutral solutions.
  • You have deep experience creating and sharing product strategy, roadmaps, and project plans.
  • You write clear product requirements that enable the team to work efficiently while consistently delivering quality products.
  • You excel at cross-functionally partnership with engineering, design, product marketing, sales, legal, risk, finance, and operations, and are adept at balancing customer needs with business needs to deliver optimal solutions.
  • You know how to deliver customer value iteratively and can manage products through various launch phases and follow-on releases.
  • You’re an ambitious, self-motivated, and goal-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills.

Why Patch:

  • Make a positive impact on the world, and work on a mission that matters.
  • Competitive compensation.
  • Meaningful Equity.
  • Monthly wellness stipend for mental and physical health, covering gyms, courses, therapy, art, animals, etc!
  • Remote-friendly.
  • Low ego, collaborative culture.
  • Time-off As Needed Vacation Policy.
