This position will ensure that all products meet regulatory, customer, and internal quality requirements through effective application of quality engineering principles, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices.  Responsibilities: •    Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and inspection procedures for explosion-proof pump systems, including motors and final assemblies. •    Monitor and evaluate motor quality during incoming inspection, in-process assembly, and final testing stages. •    Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify root causes of product and process issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions. •    Lead internal audits and participate in external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, ATEX/IECEx compliance). •    Create and maintain control plans, PFMEAs, process flow diagrams, and other APQP documentation. •    Support supplier quality activities, including qualification, performance monitoring, and issue resolution for drive units. •    Maintain detailed documentation for compliance with explosion-proof equipment standards and certifications. •    Analyze quality data, perform statistical analysis (SPC, capability studies), and provide recommendations for process improvements. •    Train and support production personnel and suppliers on quality standards to ensure alignment with Xylem specifications.   •    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and reduce defects.
