Aepnus will leverage the funding to deploy pilot systems with customers across the battery supply chain, including critical minerals refineries, battery manufacturing plants and battery recycling facilities.<h4>About the Role</h4>As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll leverage your extensive engineering expertise to design, prototype, and optimize electrochemical cells and systems. You'll closely manage relationships with external engineering contractors and vendors, oversee prototyping and product scale-up, and lead innovative electrode and cell designs. Your leadership will involve hands-on prototyping, vendor collaboration, manufacturing scale-up, and simulation-driven design. You will be a key contributor in a collaborative environment, focused on problem-solving and delivering robust, scalable products aligned with our mission.<h4>Key Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Collaborate closely with third-party engineering contractors and manufacturing vendors to ensure effective project execution.</li><li>Hands-on prototyping and assembly of electrochemical stacks, electrodes, and associated components.</li><li>Lead technical projects towards optimizing the design of the electrolyzer stack components.
