Job Description
Voltus is looking for an engineering manager to build, grow and retain a diverse and exceptional technical team. We are looking for a passionate leader who will guide engineering strategy and practices to support the development of data systems and services that are critical to the growth of Voltus. Data systems power core abstractions and technology services, allowing Voltus to operate as a virtual power plant.
Qualifications
- Track record of leading a team with complex stakeholders and challenging engineering problems.
- Past experience building and scaling data intensive systems.
- Experience with a modern programming language like Python, Scala, or Rust.
- Solid fluency in SQL
Responsibiliies
- Oversee delivery of project work, strategic planning, and development of engineering staff.
- Drive key architecture decisions when necessary.
- Guide engineering strategy to make Voltus’s data systems self-serve.
- Influence product and process decisions.
