Job Description

Voltus is looking for a Marketing Manager with a passion for delivering Better Energy and More Cash to our prospective customers. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager is a passionate marketing practitioner, eager to understand their assigned markets in eastern North American Regions (Canada and US) and translate that understanding into messaging and campaigns that will warm leads and shorten sales cycles. The ideal candidate is a doer, working closely with the Director of Marketing to create and execute market-specific marketing plans, a collaborator, communicating effectively with both Sales Operations and Sales Leadership to bring these plans to fruition, and laser-focused on making the sales team more productive. Must be based in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut).

Key Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of market-specific marketing plans
  • Drive the creation of market-specific sales collateral and webinar content development
  • Own market-level messaging and email marketing campaigns 
  • Work closely with Energy Markets to conduct market analysis and new market entry plans
  • Ensure pricing consistency across all marketing materials
  • Creation and maintenance of competitive landscape on a market level
  • Cross collaborate with other Marketing Managers to drive process improvements across markets
  • Support Sales Trainer in the development and execution of market-specific training for sales team
  • Push data-driven, analytical insights to sales leadership, focusing their attention on the actions and behaviors that will drive success
  • Triage of Sales requests and market-specific questions

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Marketing Manager
  • Familiarity with and interest in ISOs/RTOs and the Cleantech industry
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Intellectually curious - willing to dive into the details and understand the nuances
  • Mastery of HubSpot, Salesforce, Gotowebinar, Zoom, and PowerPoint/Google Slides
  • Obsessively focused on ROI for all marketing initiatives
  • Comfortable creating the content and delivering the presentations for webinars
  • Experience with event management (in person and virtually)
  • Direct sales experience preferred
  • BS/BA, MBA preferred
