The Role
Delivering cash to customers is a crucial part of the Voltus value proposition. We are looking for a Product Manager to help us scale up the systems, processes and customer experiences that get cash in the hands of customers. 
This role is an exciting opportunity to impact the full stack, from improving the display of earnings estimates to customers, to making sure payments are accurate and timely, to preparing our forecasts infrastructure for rapid growth in transaction volume. You will own the roadmap build a strong knowledge of diverse stakeholder needs and collaborate closely with Engineering and Design to evaluate solutions and build the roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and delivery of projects within your product area
• Develop a deep understanding of your users’ needs and advocate for them
• Manage the backlog for the product area 
• Provide strong, data-backed opinions on prioritization of needs, explained in simple and transparent terms
• Work closely with Engineering to write requirements and documentation
• Communicate the value of product developments to stakeholders at all levels
• Iterate on team processes and best practices to help us continually improve happiness and productivity

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in managing the development of software products 
• Self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and systems thinking
• Experience gathering feedback from users and advocating on their behalf
• Ability to distill data into actionable insights
• Equally strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bonus: experience working in an agile environment
• Bonus: experience building financial record systems or other complex integrated systems
• Bonus: experience in the energy technology industry
