Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Finance Systems Analyst to join our newly formed Service Control Centre (SCC) team at Parameta Solutions. This role will support the maintenance, monitoring, and optimisation of the company’s finance systems—primarily Workday Finance and its integrated platforms. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between Finance, Procurement, Market Data Tech, IT and Service Operations, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and timely issue resolution across business-critical processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first line of support for finance system queries and service requests.
- Monitor system dashboards, integration logs, and control reports to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Work closely with Finance, IT, and Workday support teams to triage incidents, ensure proper escalation and track resolution progress.
- Work with finance counterparts to manage intercompany reconciliations and ensure accuracy at month-end.
- Support the testing and deployment of Workday Finance configuration changes, updates and patches.
- Participate in month-end close support, ensuring finance systems and interfaces are operating efficiently and accurately.
- Document incident resolution steps, SOPs, system configurations, and recurring issues for knowledge management.
- Contribute to service reporting, tracking SLA adherence and recommending improvements to reduce recurring issues.
- Collaborate with data governance and finance teams to validate data accuracy across financial modules and integrations (e.g., Workiva, Salesforce, Mulesoft).
- Assist with audit and compliance activities (e.g., SOX) by ensuring controls are consistently monitored and documented.
- Support configuration management, ensuring system changes are tracked and aligned with the change management process.

Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Systems or related field.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience in a finance systems analyst, business systems analyst or similar roles.
- Experience with Workday Financials, or comparable ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
- Familiarity with financial operations processes (GL, AP, AR, FP&A, Procurement).
- Basic knowledge of integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Workiva, OneStream, Hubble) and issue resolution methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Understanding of SOX compliance and ITGC principles is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of data query tools (e.g., SQL) is desirable.
- Experience working in ITIL-based environments and using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Ability to conduct self-learning, pick up new tools and able to be independent with minimal guidance from the project leads/managers
