The Role
Voltus is looking for a driven individual to lead our System Operations team as a Senior Salesforce Administrator. In this role, you will own the success of our Salesforce instance as well as other related applications including Taskray. Ownership means not only being the leading Salesforce expert within the company and handling administrative responsibilities, but also having an excellent understanding of the business and ensuring Salesforce evolves to meet our changing needs. Success for this role will be measured by the timely completion of projects, user satisfaction, and the absence of process errors/bugs and data quality issues. The maintenance, standardization, and optimization of process and data within Salesforce is critical to achieving our mission and we need someone that is bright, gritty, and good to lead us in that effort.

Responsibilities

  • Be our primary salesforce administrator which means:
  • - Managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups - Building automations in process builder and flow - Leading efforts to integrate new tools within the salesforce ecosystem - Providing advanced support to users and troubleshooting issues - Owning the Taskray add-on including managing users, renewals, and building templates/automations - Staying up-to-date on the latest Salesforce improvements and communicating new functionality to the relevant internal teams
  • Own our roadmap of Salesforce improvements. This means prioritizing outstanding projects, communicating progress, and personally implementing some of the solutions
  • Support other teams in maintaining Salesforce data quality by identifying points of failure and building reports to help proactively identify them
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and optimizing day-to-day workflows that leverage Salesforce
  • Be our Monday.com administrator. This includes managing users/permissions, upgrades, and renewals
  • Create and maintain training materials and documentation for Salesforce, Taskray, and Monday.com
  • Be ready to grow the team and take on basic admin responsibilities for other company-wide 3rd party applications.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably in orgs with at least 100 users
  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Strong knowledge of custom objects, process builders, workflows, apex triggers, SOQL, validation rules, etc…
  • Familiar with related Salesforce applications like Hubspot, DocuSign, DataLoader, ZoomInfo, etc..
  • Strong project management skills which allow you to prioritize, communicate, and execute effectively
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment
  • Communicative and collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to understand complex business needs and translate them into solutions within the Salesforce platform
  • Maniacally self-initiated
