Role Description We are looking for a hands-on individual to help us develop our core technology through the processing of experimental cell assembly and maintenance requests. In this role, you will work as a part of our Technical Operations team and coordinate directly with various engineering teams learning how to set up, perform, and troubleshoot experiments. A successful candidate will be curious, inquisitive, and excited to learn best in class practices from senior technicians and engineers. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual to sharpen their technical skills and start an impactful career working on a breakthrough technology.

What you'll do:

  • Inspect, organize, and prepare device components and hardware for experimental assembly
  • Complete high-quality work from various teams adhering to individual timelines 
  • Document and organize device assembly notes and status for performance traceability
  • Perform routine investigative teardowns of cell fixtures to capture physical material characteristics following cell testing
  • Facilitate installation and assembly of new equipment or tools to increase process efficiency
  • Maintain laboratory conditions in a fashion that facilities cleanliness and productivity for all lab users
  • Get mentored by experienced Senior Technicians
  • Collaborate with our world-class scientists and engineers to provide creative solutions and improvements

What you'll bring:

  • Aptitude for hands-on, high quality, and detail oriented work
  • Interest in working with tools ranging from delicate laboratory instruments to machinery such as hydraulic presses, wrenches, power washers, or powered hand tools
  • Familiarity with organizing and maintaining hardware inventory
  • Written and oral communication skills within a group of peers and broader organization
  • Comfort using digital tools. We use Asana, Slack, Confluence, and GSuite among others.
