Role DescriptionWe are looking for a hands-on individual to join our Technical Operations team to support our electrolyte workstream. In this role, individuals will work directly with process engineers and scientists to synthesize, document, and characterize electrochemical solutions. This workstream will directly support the development of novel electrolytes for use in our battery systems.  This candidate has a strong sense for chemical safety, organization, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will also be able to make keen observations on process anomalies and articulate those findings to our electrolyte team for further analysis. 


What You'll Do:

  • Use standard operating procedures (SOPs) to routinely prepare electrochemical solutions
  • Support development scientists and engineers by stocking, cleaning and maintaining key consumables and equipment
  • Analyze samples and execute characterization measurements
  • Continuously improve the process for existing standard analytics protocols
  • Lead and participate in laboratory organization events

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years experience in a wet laboratory environment
  • Familiarity with chemical hygiene, safety best practices
  • Flexible with changes in schedule and ability to self-manage
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite and Google Apps 
  • Ability to lift 50 lb, climb ladders and work on step stools
