We’re expanding, and we need people who share our vision and want to be part of something different.About this RoleAs a Sales Planning and Order Management Intern, you will support the Sales Planning &amp; Order Management Lead in optimizing vehicle planning, forecasting, and order management processes.This role offers hands-on experience in coordinating vehicle supply and demand, working closely with commercial, operational, and global sales planning teams to contribute to strategic business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesSales &amp; Operational Planning<ul><li>Assist in preparing and updating the monthly car flow plan, including sales, production, vehicle arrivals, and stock supply across model and engine variants.</li><li>Support the Commercial Sales Team with data entry and analysis for new vehicle sales planning and monthly sales volume submissions.</li><li>Help align production volumes with the Global Order-to-Delivery team to support inventory optimization.</li><li>Contribute to weekly sales forecasts by gathering data and identifying trends or risks.</li><li>Provide support for ad hoc sales reporting and data compilation for strategic decision-making.</li><li>Assist in developing and maintaining files and tools to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.</li><li>Conduct analysis on inventory sell-down trends and order cancellations to support inventory management and sales strategies.</li></ul> Order Management<ul><li>Assist in managing vehicle orders within production quotas, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Support analysis of order trends (by model, engine, pack, options) to enhance vehicle profitability.</li><li>Provide administrative support for vehicle sourcing and order processing for departments such as Marketing, Press, and Internal Fleets.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Preferred experience in the vehicle, sales, and planning environment OR a current enrollment in a degree program in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.</li><li>Sound knowledge of Power BI, Qlik and database usage.</li><li>Strong communication skills (verbal and written).</li><li>Analytical mindset with an interest in problem-solving and operational processes.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) at an intermediate level.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and contribute to team goals.</li></ul>What are the benefits of working at Polestar?Picnic Day: Enjoy a well-deserved day off following Boxing Day with our annual Picnic Day.
