<div> About the role BURN is looking for a Finance and HR Officer who will hold a hybrid role that involves responsibilities related to both finance and human resources within an organisation. Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Support in collating data required for accounting and tax filing. </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Ensure that all documents have the relevant approvals before forwarding for payment.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Maintain records of VAT invoices to support reporting to the revenue authority.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Ensure all supporting documentation (including tax-compliant invoices) is available and filed correctly.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Reconciliation of B2C sales vs cash received and banked.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Reconciliation of stock flow report, sales reported, and sales posted in the system.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Assist with the preparation and coordination of the audit process when necessary.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Support with general tax, VAT and withholding tax filing.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Identify and address discrepancies on purchase invoices and receipts shared. </li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Support HR in the preparation of employee payroll, benefits and compensation package.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Assist employees with HR questions, escalating to Group HQ where needed</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to Finance and HR.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Any other tasks as requested by the line manager and/or senior management.</li></ul>Skills and Experience<ul><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">At least 3 years’ experience in a business environment, with at least 3 years in finance, preferably in the manufacturing industry. </li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Experience with payroll processing and HR Administration (Preferred).</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. E</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px;margin-left:8px;">Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to finance and HR.
