The Job
At Omnidian, our technology is critical to the success of the company. The Director of Software Product Management will work on multiple levels, and play a key role in defining and directing that technology. At the strategic level, this role will work with the cross-functional teams and the executive team to help define our technology roadmap, one that ensures we are building the right technology for the right audience at the right time to enable long-term business success. The Director will also hire and lead a team of Software PMs that bridge the gap between Product, Operations, Sales, Software Engineering, and Data Science in order to produce business value. This team will help to define what that business value is, the path to get there, translate that path into feasible technology steps, and then execute on those project plans.

What You'll Do

  • Deeply understand our customers, technology, and business, and then drive the company’s core technology to create business value
  • Collaborate across multiple teams (and over multiple time horizons) to help define our long-term technology roadmap and an achievable plan to get there
  • Hire, manage, and grow a team of Software PMs that will help to deliver on that roadmap
  • Keep stakeholders informed
  • Identify and mitigate risks at both the strategic and tactical levels
  • Remove roadblocks to the efficient delivery of business value
  • Balance multiple priorities and timelines simultaneously

  • Are able to produce concrete plans that consider many different factors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Produce results in a collaborative manner
