R&D Software Developer (remote opportunity)

We are looking for a self-motivated and hands-on technical leader that delivers quality results quickly to help further the Omnidian R&D Roadmap for Advanced PV, Storage and EV applications. The Software Developer will incorporate new technologies and collaborate with their team to design and prototype cutting edge technical services.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deploy prototype solutions independently and as a team member
• Contribute to every stage (and discipline) in the software development life cycle including the UI
• Learn new technologies quickly and put them to work for prototyping on a schedule
• Own the quality of the deliverables
• Work out of our vibrant and creative workspaces in Burlington VT, Seattle WA., remote or hybrid

Who You Are

• You have a Computer Science or Electrical Engineering degree, or equivalent, with a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms
• You have an understanding of software development best practices, system design, software design patterns, and algorithms
• You’ve had past success in driving technical projects from beginning to end
• You enjoy a fast paced, collaborative environment and prefer to create great products together with your team
• You are committed to excellence and integrity

Experience with any of the following is a plus, but not required!

• Python, Dash, ReactJS, MySQL and NoSQL
• Machine Learning
• Dataloggers / Edge Devices
• AWS and Bare-metal
• Big data pipelines
• Rapid prototyping software products
