<div><span style="font-size:16px;">Zoox's Advanced Hardware Engineering team is responsible for the design, development, and innovation of sensor technology, networking, and the main compute platform for our vehicles. In this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team to design high-speed digital and embedded systems in accordance with industry standards, best practices, and requirements.  Your focus will be high-performance compute systems, but you will additionally mentor and direct more junior engineers on a variety of embedded systems as well as be a strong individual contributor.</span></div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will: </h3><ul><li>Provide engineering leadership for multiple Control modules, with focus on Compute</li><li>Work extensively with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, integration) to ensure product success</li><li>Drive team to consensus in dynamic environment</li><li>Demonstrate technical ownership of your program from concept through to deployment</li></ul><h3>Qualifications </h3><ul><li>High-speed motherboard design experience is required </li><li>BS or MS in electrical engineering or equivalent</li><li>10+ years of professional work experience</li><li>Strong electrical engineering fundamentals</li><li>Track record of successful product delivery</li><li>Experience in board and system-level testing and characterization</li><li>Working knowledge of schematic design and PCB layout tool (Altium Designer preferred)</li><li>Passion for problem solving (both technical and organizational)</li><li>Experience with both prototype and high volume contact manufacturing including </li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications </h3><ul><li>Experience in functional safety/ISO 26262/FMEA</li><li>Experience with taking products though full EMC</li><li>Experience in automotive/EV/AV/aerospace/space or similar industries</li><li>Experience in software/automation development</li><li>Hands-on lab experience such as soldering, and experience with lab equipment (power supplies, signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer)</li><li>Familiarity with common industry technologies and protocols including CAN, Ethernet, GNSS, GMSL2, NVMe</li></ul><br>
