This role partners closely with Process Engineering and Operations to drive continuous improvement, ensure quality standards are upheld, and support our commitment to delivering reliable and high-performing distribution transformers to our customers.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><p> </p><ul> <li>Maintain 5S in the areas associated with quality defect and offline units.</li> <li>Monitor product quality and provide feedback for process changes.</li> <li>Document findings and corrections in the offline log.</li> <li>Actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities to enhance skills and contribute to organizational development.</li> <li>Diagnose and correct offline transformers.</li> <li>Use technical diagnostic tools (Core Loss, Impulse, Hi-Pot, Resistance, Turns Ratio, &amp; Final Test) to identify and correct offline failures.</li> <li>Read schematics.</li> <li>Provide preventive actions such as training, process updates, etc., to eliminate the recurrence of the issue. Provide feedback, training, and coaching to operators on operator-caused offline units.</li> <li>Engage in on-site customer repairs and issue resolution, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service and problem-solving.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul> <li>An associate's degree or equivalent technical experience is required.</li> <li>Self-starter with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment</li> <li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make process adjustments</li> <li>Working knowledge of quality control systems and their impact on production outcomes</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics</li> <li>Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for fostering effective collaboration within the team.</li></ul><p>  </p><p>Join ERMCO and TRANSFORM your career.</p>
