As a Buyer you will be responsible for the management of supplier cost and schedule.  A successful candidate will be a team player with an exceptional ability to multitask, manage multiple competing priorities, and capable of handling a wide range of procurement activities as a central contact for new product owners. Experience with machined parts sourcing and composite parts sourcing is a major plus.</span></div><br><br><h3>How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: </h3><ul><li>Represent New Product Introductions from early phase procurement through longer term sustainment.  </li><li>Manage commercial aspects of New Product Introduction to the supply chain including engaging new suppliers, thinking creatively to improve timelines, ensuring new programs have all the parts they need in order to electrify flight!</li><li>Responsible for reporting procurement activity and interface between program and commodity</li><li>Management for new sourcing and change programs in line with the group commodity strategy</li><li>Reviewing requisitions and bid proposals; negotiating contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority; purchasing supplies</li><li>Preparing purchase orders or bid requests; entering data of all purchase orders, end-to-end PO management</li><li>Negotiation and contract negotiation experience</li><li>A demonstrated ability to build relations with a supplier network and have insight in suppliers' processes</li><li>Working with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule</li><li>Contacting vendors regarding the status of an order; contacting vendors concerning discrepancies with quantity and quality</li><li>Ensuring on-time delivery, supplier development, and inventory traceability</li><li>Reconcile invoicing or shipping issues</li><li>Performing other duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment, and passion to perform under pressure</li><li>Four-year degree preferred </li><li>5-7 years of related work experience in Procurement with focus on project management. Your preferred experience in aerospace manufacturing or in an environment with a keen focus on Quality will set you apart</li><li>Experience and confidence within an ERP system.
